There are fifteen hundred known scorpions in the world, and many of the larger ones have the ability to hunt small-to-medium sized animals and have them for a meal. Rodents, lizards, and even small birds are not too big for scorpions to go after. For pet owners, experts suggest feeding scorpions large crickets, but they only need to be fed between three and six crickets per week.
